Guest guest
Janine, Thank you, I am super motivated for healing as well as a little trimming (I need to lose 20 pounds or so to be in a healthy weight range) I never want to feel crazy or high again. I want a nice boring simple life, with no major ups and downs from sugar. So I am willing to do anything, I am going to do these steps in order, it is very hard and challenging I'm finding. Everyone's pace is different. You are super motivated so maybe your progress through step one will be swift compared to someone who really wants to take her time with step one. All I can suggest is try out the step one as suggested in RR and see how that goes. It is not as though you *have* to have sugar and refined carbohydrates at each meal...it is just a mind set of having the priority be one thing at a time, first things first and focusing on the first step so that it truly sinks in and lays the foundation for deep healing and success with step 2 and onward. That's just my take on it. What did you have for breakfast today? Shake? Best wishes, Janine On Mar 6, 2010, at 4:14 PM, marmatraz wrote: > > > __ > MarMatraz > radiantstepone > 3/6/2010 7:13:39 P.M. Guest guest
Maria What are you finding hard about it? Your life may well be simpler once you have done the steps, but boring? No, it doesn't have to be boring any more than it has to be hard. You sound as if you have the sense of giving something up. On the other hand, if you come to the program with a willing heart, prepared to do whatever it takes, you will certainly find recovery.
