Hi all,

I looked through my journal to get a better idea of just where I am today.

There are more blank pages than I would have said if you'd asked me. Other than

breakfast, I've been eating at the low end of my protein range for the past 3-4

weeks and mostly eating protein and brown, not many vegetables. Three meals,

timing not great on weekends, sporadic potato, small amounts of white

occasionally and very little fruit. Pretty sloppy.

I put millet grits in the rice cooker last night and made shake with a cup of

soy and 1/4C unsweetened chocolate almond milk. Nuts were 2 Tbsp chopped

walnuts. Just 1/2C oats since I had hot cereal. The cereal is 2 Tbsp grits +

1Tbsp dried coconut in 2/3C water. I add a spoonful of coconut oil. This was

the first time for millet. It was a bit runny but I liked it :) Shake was

actually a little runny, too. I forgot to use a little less milk to compensate

for less oats. I prefer my shake thick and cereal loose <smile>

I sat at the table to eat and journaled. DD is taking me shopping this morning.

I'm getting laid off from my job with the library and have an interview on

Friday for a position with another county department. I need something to wear

for the interview since what I wore for the last one is no longer a 5. I hope

having hot cereal this morning will give me a little extra *ahhhh* to shop, not

my favorite activity, lol.
