Hi all,

Okay, step 2. I'm currently journaling only food and minimal feelings. I

record meals and feeling on one page and use the other page for other things.

I've been pulling out the protein, brown and veggies from the meals which makes

it really easy to see just how much of each I'm getting. And I can make sure

I'm not double dipping. And as I found with breakfast, I often think I'm eating

more than I am.

There are 3 columns to list the veggies, brown, and protein with the amounts and

protein grams for each meal. I use a composition book and fold the pages to

make the columns. It works really well and will be so useful when I start to

focus on step 3 <smile>

In the past I've kept up with other things in my journal, too. For now, though,

I want to keep it simple and stick to the food and feelings since the purpose of

this step review is to understand how eating vegetarian is working for me and

optimize that. Then I'll circle back around and step 7 up my journal when I

review step 7.

The nanos will be recording in real time, measuring consistently, and making a

concerted effort to recognize how I feel beyond good/bad.

Measuring is so important, Janice, as I found when I did the journalling class

recently.
