hi cherrie and hi everybody else on the list :)

 

I am not very familiar with crockpots

what are they and can I cook the wonderful recipes in another pot

don't know if I can get them in germany

welcome Ute!!! they are also called slow cookers? perhaps we can find a way to get you one :) heh.

 

they weigh more than four pounds most of the time i think, but heh. it'll have to be a seperate "care" package!!!

maybe I can search under that item in the shops here

I have recently asked Michi if she got an idea where to shop for such an

item here

in 1 years and about 5 months I will go back to California for a long

holiday and I will buy one then if I can't find any before :)

so no worries

Hi Everbody,

 

These posts remind me that my parents have a crockpot like that and I don't

think they are using it. I think I will ask them about it. My crock pot is 29

years old! My parents gave it to me as a wedding present of my second marraige.

That did not last but the crockpot still works! LOL

I have a pot that comes apart too and I LOVE it, I remember once my

ex-roomate burned some chili in one of those old pots that don't come

apart, and I finally gave up and threw it out, it was so impossible to

clean! hehe
