Guest guest
Into the crockpot put 1 cup of sorted and washed lentils, 1/2 cup of brown rice, 1 chopped onion, 2 cut up carrots, 1 sliced celery rib, 1 chopped clove of garlic, one 4 inch spring of fresh rosemary (or 1 t. crushed dried), a teaspoon of sea salt, and enough water to at least a depth of 2 inches above the food. Set on low and go with the flow! It smells wonderful when you come home on a cold day. Some people like to use 1/2 c. of lentils to 1 cup of brown rice. Whatever you like is fine. Serve with cornbread or other good bread and a salad. Enjoy! Donna
