Guest guest Posted January 5, 2002 Report Share Posted January 5, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Pot of Sage Dressing Recipe By :Adapted From A Potful of Recipes, Joanna Lund Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : A Potful of Recipes Side Dishes Thanksgiving/Christmas Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups finely chopped celery 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms -- drained 16 sliced bread -- torn into small pieces 2 cups vegetable broth or vegetarian " chicken " broth 2 teaspoons dried sage 1/2 teaspoon dried poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray. In prepared container, combine celery, onion, mushrooms, and bread pieces. In a small bowl, combine broth, sage, poultry seasoning, parsley, and black pepper. Pour broth mixture evenly over bread mixture. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Mix well before serving.
