Creamy Old-Fashioned Oatmeal

1 1/3 cups dry old-fashioned rolled oats

2 1/2 cups water PLUS 1 tablespoon

1 dash salt

 

Mix together cereal, water, and salt in slow cooker. Cook on low 6 hours.

 

This formula is for one serving. use 1/3 cup dry oats and 2/3 cup water plus a

few grains of salt. Multiply by the number of servings you need.

 

VARIATION: Before cooking, stir in a few chopped dates or raisins for each

serving if you wish.
