BBQ Tempeh

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 package tempeh -- (3 grain or soy) cubed

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon molasses or honey

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 1/2 teaspoons smoked bittersweet paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

1 8 oz can tomato sauce

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -- (vegetarian)

fresh ground pepper

 

Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook 4-6 hours on low.
