Glazed Pineapple Carrots

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

6 large carrots -- peeled & thinly sliced

1 cup crushed pineapple -- drained

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup brown sugar -- packed

pepper to taste -- optional

 

Place carrots, pineapple, butter, orange juice, and brown sugar in the slow

cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, until carrots are tender.

Taste and add pepper if desired.
