Curried Almonds

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 pound natural almonds with brown skin -- (about 1

1/3 cups)

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder

 

Place all 4 ingredients in 3-1/2 (3.5 L) slow cooker. Cook on HIGH

to melt margarine. Stir well. Cover. Cook on LOW for about 2

hours. Stir. Turn heat to HIGH. Cook, uncovered for about 1 hours,

stirring at half-time. Spread on tray to cool. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
