Kathleen,

I need local moms so my son will have playmates.

I have a partially dislocated hip. Getting out

is difficult so and I feel like Will is missing

out because of me. I am actively seeking out

local stay at homes so I can form a playgroup at

my home. And of course I'd appreciate NOT being

the only vegetarian as I usually am.

I have a couple mom friends, but they are very

busy and making time to come over is not a high

priority for them. None of them are veg, but all

are interested in veg cooking. So as usual, I am

info center in explaining what a vegetarian eats.

I joined this group because I am new vegan and

crockpot cooking is helping me cope with my new

disability. It's ideal since dh does the grocery

shopping, I can clean and chop veggies a day

ahead. And put in crockpot the next morning.

Not having to make dinner after caring for my

very active 21 month old all day is a HUGE help

to me right now.
