Guest guest
A, I liked it when you got " carried away " you reminded me of the flame point for oils. I heard it was 405 degrees F for sesame and peanut oils. I thought they were the best oils for cooking with. And olive and almond were the best for non-cooking recipes. Do you happen to know? BTW, solar cooking can happen at as low as about 200 degrees F. I can solar cook at 250-375 degrees depending quality of sunlight. The high temperatures are achieved with a SunStar solar oven. It has 4 reflectors that aim more sunlight into the cooker. The 200-250 F is usual for my box cooker which only has one reflector. Go to www.solarcooking.org indepth info and free instructions on making your own oven.
