Guest guest
Hi folks - Sawatdee ka In that I have been ... am... a strong adversary of margerine ... due to the fact that the largest majority of these (till know, my comment was all ... not most) were & #34;super-dooper-ly & #34; high in partially hydroginated oils ... which in turn means high in trans fatty acids (worse for you than saturated fatty acids) Anyway, as I said I would do, I went to my HFS (Health Food Store) to look at and find out about those that folks here (wholefoods) stated were free of these & #34;no-no's. Well folks ... this staunch adversary of trans fatty acids has learned from the members here (at wholefoods). Based on what I found there, these brands I felt were something I would buy were I to uses margarine (or butter) Spectrum makes 2 versions ... Spectrum & amp; Spectrum Essential Omega-3 Hain Earth Balance Canoleo (*) (*) Canoleo also makes a similar tub of margarine that does have trans fatty acids (PHO's). Be sure to read the label. Thanks folks for making me do the research. I love it when I am proven wrong and it helps me and others to become more versed. I am also CC'ing this to my other groups. This is not the only one where I can be obnoxious. I hope it will help those not in as strict as setting as ours (wholefoods) to also make their recipes healthier, with out sacrificing what they want. & #34;A & #34; ===== Come and visit ...
