Hi folks - Sawatdee ka

In that I have been ... am... a strong adversary of

margerine ... due to the fact that the largest

majority of these (till know, my comment was all ...

not most) were & #34;super-dooper-ly & #34; high in

partially hydroginated oils ... which in turn means

high in trans fatty acids (worse for you than

saturated fatty acids)

Anyway, as I said I would do, I went to my HFS (Health

Food Store) to look at and find out about those that

folks here (wholefoods) stated were free of these

& #34;no-no's.

Well folks ... this staunch adversary of trans fatty

acids has learned from the members here (at

wholefoods). Based on what I found there, these

brands I felt were something I would buy were I to

uses margarine (or butter)

Spectrum makes 2 versions ...

Spectrum & amp; Spectrum Essential Omega-3

Hain

Earth Balance

Canoleo (*)

(*) Canoleo also makes a similar tub of margarine that

does have trans fatty acids (PHO's). Be sure to read

the label.

Thanks folks for making me do the research. I love it

when I am proven wrong and it helps me and others to

become more versed.

I am also CC'ing this to my other groups. This is not

the only one where I can be obnoxious. I hope it will

help those not in as strict as setting as ours

(wholefoods) to also make their recipes healthier,

with out sacrificing what they want.

true, so true, so true ,..... and much better for you

also (try also unrefined coconut or grapeseed oils)
