Guest guest
Greetings, I am checking one last time for recipes that use the rare Greek spice Kiobego. Any which are forthcoming would be greatly appreciated. Michael Sayers

Guest guest
Mike: I tried finding out what this spice (or herb) was. Could not find a listing on the web. I did send an e-mail asking about it to: http://www.greekproducts.com/index.html There were over 20,000 websites listed asking the SE " Greek Spices " You might want to try that direction. I even tried my " Exitica 3 " . An over 1800 page picture refrence to exotic plants. I also tried " Hortus Third " , a 1200+ page guide to cultivated plants (US & Canada) ... The spice is not the Genus name of the plamt. Under common names it goes from " Kino " to " Kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate " (Not you honey, that's the plant's name. I only do it with women, should there be a garden gate.... or not. ) Standardized Plant Names ... a desk refrence that just lists the Botnicsl & Common Names of all known plants in the world (as of the date of publiction) goes from Kino, Bengal (Butea monosperma) [Not trying to get " R " rated here ... what with the kissing over garden gates and now talking about plants with single spermed ova] to Kinogum, a misnomer for what should be called " Eucalyptus, Kino " . From there to Kirengeshoma palmata (A plant with no common name. We know tht it has a leaf however that resembles the palm of one's hand 'palmata'. But, alas .... no " Kiobego " Give me some help .... a bit more info.
