I joined because crockpot cooking is highly

recommended by www.flylady.net as a way of eating

healthy even when your very, very busy.

Also can use crockpot recipes in my solar oven.

Got plans and made my own from

www.solarcookers.org.

I have a partially dislocated hip since two years

ago and had to adapt to not getting a lot done in

a day while still caring for my 2 yr ds.

Now that the weather has become cloudy I'll be

using the crockpot more than the solar oven.

As for baked potatoes, scrub them well and put in

crockpot. I think 8 hrs on low. It's okay to

check them earlier. Won't hurt.

Hi, Amirah,

Glad to meet another solar oven cook! I made my own also, and you are

right, crockpot recipes seem to work very well!
