This is a great point; and a very good one for debate.

 

However, to compare a woman's right to choose with an

abortion to an animal that has no right to choose;

that is bred, tortured and multiplied simply for

profit, and no other reason; there is no comparison.

 

Put quite simply, with the issue of abortion: Abortion

is a matter of choice. A woman has a choice. An animal

does not.

 

The hen, cow, pig, bird, or other animal does not have

a choice in aborting or having birth to a child; they

are tortured and abused to multiply to have these

babies; which is then aborted for profit, without the

animal having a choice.

 

To compare a woman's right to choose vs. an aborted

animal from an animal bred simply for profit; is a

good arguement; but not a rational one.

Uhm... He also talks a lot about fetus, fetus, fetus.. But abortions are

only performed on fetuses when there's risk to the mother's life. Abortions

are generally done in the first trimester, i.e. on embryos. Embryos do not

have their organs and systems fully formed, and are certainly not aware of

their own suffering like Cohen claims. Fetuses do feel pain and have memory,

but fetal abortions are performed much much different than embryo abortions.

Fetuses do deserve rights, but their rights can't come above their mothers'

rights.
