Guest guest
yes, this recipe is made almost entirely of canned foods. but it's easy, cheap, and my fiance is NUTS about it and will eat it all week long for lunches!! This chili turned out incredibly spicy--you know, the kind of spiciness you don't notice at first, but your mouth slowly warms up and then is on fire even with just a little taste of the sauce! Spicy cheap and easy Chili 1 onion, chopped and sauteed in oil 1 can of cajun stewed tomatoes 1 can of whole black beans 1 small can of minced jalepenos 1 can of plain tomato sauce 2 Tbs of chili powder i threw all this together, let it cook for a few hours....then added TVP to taste, and a cup of water....should be thickened up and ready to eat in a few hours! you could also add bulgher if you wanted instead of TVP, it'll also provide a "meaty" consistency... cherrie
