Guest guest
> it does appear that it's gotten a bit more discussion oriented and less about crockpot Mea culpa. As a long-time lover of things frugal I wanted to see someone else's price book and really wanted that link. As a sign of apology, here's a recipe I've made in the crockpot a few times. I would put it on Low in the morning and it would be nice and hot by dinner time. I make it lower in calories and a we bit healthier by using whole wheat flour and omitting the margarine. * Exported from MasterCook * Chickenless " Chicken " Stew Recipe By :Karen Davis Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dish Soup or Stew Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound tofu 1 cup onion -- chopped 1 cup celery -- chopped 4 large carrot -- sliced 5 medium potato -- cubed 4 cups water 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes 1/2 cup flour 5 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/4 teaspoon thyme 1/4 teaspoon sage 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons margarine 1.
