Guest guest Posted August 25, 2003 Report Share Posted August 25, 2003 Hi Everyone, I don't think I have introduced myself to this list yet - sorry ;=) My name is Pat and I am a long-time vegetarian (some couple of decades and probably more, barring glitches) and a fairly newish vegan. My husband (likewise vegetarian turned vegan) and I currently live in southwestern Ontario, Canada. I'm a great believer in crockpots/slowcookers - what would we do without them?! I'm short on recipes, however. I mainly use mine of cooking up beans or lentils that I freeze (cheaper and better for us than canned) to use later in, well, bean or lentil dishes *LOL* - apart from the usual chilli or beans and rice dishes and occasional soup.
