Hi Donna,

I am so sorry everybody, I forgot to revise the information I received from a

friend to make it appropriate for the list.

Thank you for pointing this out to me, I do apologize.

Is this a Vegan List???

Browning meats before cooking is a personal choice.

Pot Roast 8-12 hours on LOW or 4 to 5 hours on HIGH

Stew 10 to 12 hours on LOW or 4 to 5 hours on HIGH

Ribs 6 to 8 hours on LOW

------

Hi,

I'm brand new here, so maybe I misunderstood. The information in this

e-mail mentioned chickens, fish, pot roast, brisket, swiss steak, etc.

Was I wrong to think that this was a vegan list??

Also, sorry that my first post was so...oh, you know what I

mean...Anyway, I am Donna. I have been a vegetarian for about 20 years,

a vegan for not quite as long. I homeschool my son and own an on-line

bookshop. I recently started using my crockpot quite heavily, mostly

just to cook beans overnight. I also love cooking whole unhulled oats

overnight, and waking up to a pot full of creamy oatmeal. I haven't

done it in a awhile, so if anyone is interested I can let you know the

proportions once I try it again.
