Guest guest
Hi everyone!! I am very new to the crock pot scene as I have not yet purchased one...does anyone have a crock pot they highly recommend? I know I want one where the crock comes out for easy cleaning and transporting but that's really all that I know. I am anxiously awaiting coming home to a hot, homecooked vegan meal that pretty much took care of itself while I was working...and vegan chili....after I post this I'm going to search the archives for chili recipes....mmmmm Anyway, I look forward to learning from and sharing with everyone here! Guest guest
Yes, crockpots do make cooking VERY convenient! I find I use mine more in the winter since dishes prepared in a crockpot are more cold weather fare (like chili). Anyway, I have a rival brand crockpot and the crockery comes out. Mine is a smaller model since there's only my husband and daughter and I. My mother uses rival as well. In fact, the only reason she traded in her avocado green 70's retro model was for one with a removable crock. Reasonably priced... i found mine at Target.
