Crockpot soup question

I just started going through the posts. I have a question on the Off

the Shelf Crockpot Soup recipe listed recently. I didn't understand

the line " 1 Ea. fill with water to top of crockpot " (or something

like this). One each WHAT? And did it really mean to fill the

crockpot with water? How do we know how much? I have a 6 qt.

crockpot, and with a large family, I NEVER cook for just one, so I

automatically multiply ingredients in a recipe. But I just can't

figure out what to do here. I love to make soup. Please help! Marilyn

  • 2 weeks later...

personally, I just make sure the ingredients are covered in the water... if

needed you can add more as you go.. plus condensation will add some anyway..

easier to thin out a soup, than to make it thicker! =)

and welcome to the group! =)
