Hi, I am cooking black beans today and my house smells awful! What

can I do? I boiled them for 10 minutes, drained them and then put

them in the crockpot with fresh water. Do I need to cook them

outside from now on? Help! -Barbara

Hi Barbara;

Soaking them before the 10 minute boil should help a lot.

Hi Barbera....(did I spell your name right?)

I've always just had to live with a stinky house...sorry.

A tablespoon of vinegar might tone down the bean smell.

Of course some people don't care for that smell either.

but to me vinegar smell is a clean smell.
