Guest guest Posted April 14, 2004 Report Share Posted April 14, 2004 Crock Pot Black Beans & Rice Soup 1 medium onion, chopped 3 carrots, thinly sliced 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce 2 16 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed 1 14 1/2 oz. can crushed tomatoes 2 14 1/2 oz. cans veggie broth 1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice Combine all ingredients except rice in crock pot.
