Guest guest Posted May 4, 2004 Report Share Posted May 4, 2004 This is what I've done - freeze them, drained, in those freezer zip bags flat down so that they're easier to knock around to separate ;=) I was just wondering about the advice to freeze them in their liquid (which sounds kinda logical, actually ;=)). I guess there are a lot of systems. Btw, sympathies over the uncooked beans from the crockpot - I've never had that trouble. I drain them throroughly and freeze them and then if you give the bag a good knock, they all separate and it becomes really easy to measure out a cup of them or whatever and add them to dishes.
