Guest guest
ok, I really need help on this. I love making bread but we don't usually eat an entire loaf in one day. So how do I store it? I've tried ziplocs with papertowels for moisture but " yuck " . Guest guest
I store my homemade bread in Ziploc type bags, BUT I wait until the bread cools completely to put it in the bag. If it is even just a little warm, the warmth will cause moisture to form inside the sealed bag. I also use a regular drinking type straw and suck all the air out of the bag to keep it fresh longer. To do this, I close the bag leaving just enough room for the straw to fit. I then suck as much of the air out of the bag as I can and then quickly remove the straw and seal the bag in one motion. I do this with all the foods I freeze also in order to avoid ice forming on the foods from the air inside the bags. HTH. Guest guest
I make all my own bread and keep it stored in a plastic container in the fridge and it works fine for us but we use it quickly. Guest guest
HI there - I normally put the bread inside a paper bag and then into a plastic bag and keep it in a bread bin (not in fridge) - it usually lasts about three days. , Ninasus2@a... wrote: > ok, I really need help on this.
