brussel sprouts

Hi all!

I'm new to the group and love it so far! I'm making the chicken

cream cheese stuff tonight, and I can't wait!

 

I have a favor to ask:

I'm obsessed with brussel sprouts. Does anyone have any fun crockpot

recipies for them? All I have are recipies as a side dish, nothing

with a main course.

I don't like brussels sprouts at all.....one of the few vegetables I

don't care for.

 

In general, most recipes call for cooking brussels sprouts quickly,

and so wouldn't be adaptable to crockpot cooking. But I did google up

a recipe. Here it is with the meat item deleted. To more closely

duplicate the original, non-vegan recipe, add a chicken substitute.

 

Crockpot brussels sprouts

 

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper

16 ounces tomatoes with green chilis

32 ounces brussel sprouts

1 jalapeno sliced paper thin

1 cayenne pepper sliced paper thin

 

preparation:

This can cook all day for 7 hours on LOW heat in crockpot.

 

And, of course, I haven't tried this.
