Guest guest Posted October 14, 2004 Report Share Posted October 14, 2004 Crockpot Breakfast Cobbler 2 cups peeled sliced tart apples 2 cups granola cereal 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoons melted butter (vegan of course, or leave out) 1. Spray inside of crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Combine apples, cereal and cinnamon in crockpot and mix well. 3. Stir together honey and butter and drizzle over apple mixture. 4. Mix gently. 5. Cover crockpot and cook on LOW 8 hours. My crockpot cooks much too hot to leave on low for quite that long, but I have not tested this recipe out yet to see for sure. Amanda Fruited Irish Oatmeal 5 cups water 2 cups steel cut oats 1 cup apple juice 1/4 cup dried cranberries 1/4 cup golden raisins 1/4 cup snipped dried apricots 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt brown sugar or maple syrup chopped walnut or pecans, toasted 1.Add the water, oats, apple juice, cranberries, raisins, apricots, 1/4 cup maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt to a 4-quart slow-cooker; stir to combine. 2.
