Guest guest
I seem to remember questions about how to bake potatoes in a SC, but can't find it. Can anyone help ? Can/how do you bake potatoes in a slow cooker ? Thank you
Guest guest
I think you simply pirece them with a fork, wrap them in foil, and place them inside the cooker. Cover, and cook on low. Guest guest
This is what I do .. It takes a long time on low, though, like eight or ten hours in my crock pot. I prefer to do it on high for four to five hours - to me, it's hard to overcook a potato in a crock pot, but I *hate* having a baked potato that is raw in the middle - although with how much that has happened, you'd think I'd be used to it by now <G> . All crock pots are different, you have to play with yours to figure out what will work. Good luck! Sarah B. _____ Karina A. Guest guest
Hi Sarah! It's true - all crock pots are a little different; and size makes a difference, as does how many potatoes you place inside... I will try the high heat, too! ;-) ~Karina --- SB <sbaca wrote: > This is what I do .. It takes a long time on low, > though, like eight or ten > hours in my crock pot.
