LOL I've long been a fan of Mrs Jaffrey's cooking (and her acting too, earlier) and I use her book a lot. Indeed some of our favourites here at home are adaptations of hers or at least inspired by hers. But they are not designed for the crockpot, ya know. However you might want to try these: Spicy Asparagus Stir-fry from Hongkong; Broccoli with Potatoes inspired by India and Trinidad; Punjabi- Style Cauliflower and Potatoes with Ginger; Green Bean and Potato Curry from Sri Lanka; Black Tuscan Kale with Raisins; Green Beans with Cumin and Fennel from India; Stir-fried Beet Greens with Ginger and Green Chiles from India; Sweet Potatoes with Raisins and Cinnamon from Morocco; Chickpeas, Pumpkin and Raisins with Couscous from Morocco; and here's one easy for the crockpot: Fireman's Soup ;=) Good luck! Best, Pat ;=)
