About a month ago there was some discussion about veg jerky on the

fooddrying list.

The poster uses Gimme Lean and a Nesco Jerky works

gun and a package of seasoning that comes with that. I don't know the

veg/vegan status of Gimme lean but I'm sure someone else does.

 

As for using the crockpot to dry foods, I don't think there would be

enough air movement. But I would like to hear that I am wrong about

that.
