Most people I've spoken with about this herb say that it has a pungent taste

somewhat like raw licorice or fennel. I've never tried it, so I don't know.

What I have read, though says that it is not poisonous UNLESS it is used in

large doses. Of course that is the case with many different herbs that we use

on a daily basis, too. Anyway, FWIW.

.. I may be traveling to N. Carolina or Tenn. this summer, so hopefully

if I keep my eyes open, I may find some. I will eventually look it up in

an herb book, so that I know what it looks like if I come across it in
