I've heard that the potato somehow alleviates the gaseousness in beans. Is this true? It seems to work. Thanks to the person who mentioned Kombu. I was at an Asian market the other day and I was looking for something that I've heard folks mention before that tastes like the sea/salty. I saw tons of seaweed and sushi/sushimi wrappers but I couldn't remember what the product was called that I was looking for. Finally last night I remembered it was called, " dulse flakes " .
