Guest guest
What is Bulgher? Where would you find it? I actually don't mind if it's not so meaty since my kids don't like meat anyway. I think what I like a lot about the lasanga recipe is the layers of lasanga noodles with the sauce in between them. With this recipe you don't precook the lasagna noodles so they come out great in the slow cooker. I got it ready once but didn't have time to slow cook it and put it in the oven instead and it was aweful because the noodles have to be slow cooked if they are not pre cooked. That is why I want to find ways to make this a vegan lasagna. It's so easy to put together and cook. Guest guest
Diane, I never pre-cook the lasagna noodles whether I use them in the crock-pot or not. I get the regular noodles (not the ones that say you don't need to pre-cook them) and just layer them with the rest of the stuff. They come out great. I think the deal is you need to put a bit extra liquid (sauce) on them so that the lasagna is not dry and the noodles cook well.
