Hi all!

When using TVP in the crockpot, is it necessary to hydrate it first?

Or, can you just add it dry and put extra liquid into the recipe? I

haven't tried TVP in my crockpot yet, and I'm dying to!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Clare,

I just put it in dry and add extra liquid - but I use it for soups and stews,

not

things like lasagna whick calls for greater 'dampness' precision, right?
