Guest guest
Would you have had the time and energy to try out 246 recipes in a year? Pierke -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Namens Eric Elliott Verzonden: Wednesday, June 01, 2005 8:25 AM Aan: Onderwerp: I thought this was for recipes I was excited about sharing recipes in this group, so I poked around a bit. I found that during the calendar year 2005 there were 268 postings. 22 of them were recipes. 246 were dribble. There were almost as many postings involving flatulence (16). Guess I won't bother trying to find someone here who actually COOKS something instead of talking about it. _____
Guest guest
Not to sound mean or be offensive or anything, but if that's the way you feel about this group, why did you post such an unkind message instead of just unsubscribing? Guest guest
Yeah, and now there's 247...248...249... recipes about dribble I think we all (or at least me) wish there were more recipes posted here, but I for one am not doing anything about it--because I haven't posted any (mainly because I don't use my crockpot as much as I want) quintmom wrote: Not to sound mean or be offensive or anything, but if that's the way you feel about this group, why did you post such an unkind message instead of just unsubscribing? Guest guest
Recepie for peace: 1 part respect 1 part understanding 1 part compassion We may not be able to control the acts of others but we are lucky enough to be in control of our actions. Let us be the bigger person and UNDERSTAND that not all people RESPECT eachother. Let us pray for them and continue our day in the best way possible. May you all have a grateful day! I LOVE THIS! I have recieved so much advise on how to get my daughter to eat what I eat. I think you all are wonderful and I thank you for EVERY single entry I have read here! Guest guest
Thank you, Tina! To everyone else, please, as it's been said before, let's not feed the troll. I sent him a personal email and he has been put on moderation. One thing I absolutely cannot tolerate on my lists is cruelty to others. If any of you are thinking what he is saying must be true, remember that moderator Jenni has been putting together a wonderful recipe file section so you don't have to dig through all of the " dribble " of emails that discuss other topics related to cooking. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful email list, with wonderful moderators, helpful members, and great recipes! If it gets a little slow sometimes, well, that happens. We try to remain on topic but even that can get messed up (today is a good example of that). I want to thank everyone for such a fantastic list and all the hard work you guys do! Guest guest
As far as I'm concerned, " dribble " is fine...as the recipes are really good. AND, the " dribble " mentioned are often discussions about cooking and ingredients. How is that dribble? How is helping new vegans dribble? This isn't a super-active list, anyway, and I think it's great. I'm not good at submitting recipes, but i like receiving them. i should start submitting more from the compilation I made from half.com. Ciao! Guest guest
No, he wouldn't have time to try out or post 246 or 365 recipes. He is too busy sorting and counting each post, conversation and topic from this group (and probably other recipe groups too). LOL. S. (my apologies to the owner - I couldn't resist! >Betty or maybe 365 recipes? - Betty > >Pier's Pot <pierspot wrote:Would you have had the time and >energy to try out 246 recipes in a year? > >Pierke > > > > > >-----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- >Van: > Namens Eric Elliott >Verzonden: Wednesday, June 01, 2005 8:25 AM >Aan: >Onderwerp: I thought this was for recipes > > > >I was excited about sharing recipes in this group, so I poked around a >bit. > >I found that during the calendar year 2005 there were 268 postings. >22 of them were recipes. 246 were dribble. > >There were almost as many postings involving flatulence (16). > >Guess I won't bother trying to find someone here who actually COOKS >something instead of talking about it.
