I'm a digest r, and don't know what happened after my earlier post.

Someone pointed out that mentioning the spam was okay, but it wasn't nice

to be sarcastic about " modest dress, " etc.

My apologies... spamming pushes a big button in me, and I shouldn't have

mentioned anything but that. Certainly I believe people have a right to

believe, spiritually, in whatever they want, and shouldn't be singled out

as I did.

Regards, Mark

Mark, I don't think you owe anyone an apology. I thought you were quite

mild. I consider spammers fair game.

I agree - if you're putting all of that out there, it

has to be expected to hear something. I actually found

your email quite amusing :)

I don't agree that you need to apologize, Mark - although it's sweet of you to

try to put things right. I also am grateful for you for pointing out the 'modest

dressing' which I assume prefers lowfat over highfat and allows any pot, crock

or otherwise, to reveal itself to our personal taste to best advantage.

Best love, Pat the lurker

Except I don't think she was spamming. I think she was introducing herself by

saying who she is and what she does for a living. Mark did not quote her

spamming. He mentioned it and then flamed her being a conservative Christian

and modest dresser. I think Mark did owe her an apology for that. Asking her

not to spam (if indeed she realized that's what she was doing) would have been

very appropriate. Attacking her for who she was was not.

God's Peace,

Gayle
