Looking to Convert

Relax, everyone, I'm trying to convert oven casserole to crockpot, that's all. I

do a root veg casserole that takes a cornbread/polenta type topping baked in

the oven. Anything like that among your favourites for the crockpot??? Any

hints????

And oh yes, since it seems to be fashionable here now, my (very belated)

intro:

Vegetarian off and mostly on for 25 years, now vegan;

mother and grandmother;

owner or co-owner of a handful of and help with moderation on

this one;

modish dresser (modesty being in the eye of the beholder) but who always

covers the naughty bits and wears an apron against cooking spatters;

longtime confirmed atheist allergic to religio-political propaganda.

Hi Pat,

 

Would you consider sharing your recipe for the oven version of your

casserole? We have had a nearly dead oven for several months now,

and have finally ordered a new one (the hold-up has been that it is

a wall oven with the measurements offering us very restricted

options); when we finally get the new one installed, I'll be anxious

to use it, & your casserole sounded like it would be a great one to

try.
