Guest guest
I use Southern Home Worcestershire Sauce that I purchase from most any grocery store (mind you I live in Alabama). I was told it's vegetarian and the ingredients listing doesn't include the word anchovies. The last ingredient is 'natural flavorings' tho ...oh how I hate seeing this on everything! karen
Guest guest
We don't have Krogers here in Southern Oregon either, but I bought this Krogers brand worcestershire sauce at Fred Myers. Guest guest
Ach! Me too. I mean dog poop is natural, but I sure wouldn't want that in my food. *lol* Now why can't they just tell us what " natural " flavor it is exactly? ~ Feral ~ Very little is needed to make a happy life. - Marcus Aurelius, " The Meditations " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ , " bluetulipz <bluetulipz> " < bluetulipz> wrote: > I use Southern Home Worcestershire Sauce ....The last ingredient is 'natural flavorings' tho ...oh how > I hate seeing this on everything! > karen
Guest guest
> Yes, Pam, there are anchovies & other sneaky animal products Someone on another list mentioned that A-1 has out a Worcestershire sauce that's anchovy-free, but I can't find *any* mention of it on their web site, nor have I ever seen it in the stores. I buy mine from the HFS. I'm out now, but I think it's Hain's brand. Sue in NJ
Guest guest
The kind I buy is " Wizards " I believe. I think Annie's (or is it Amy's?) makes one now, too!
