Guest guest
I originally saw this recipe on the Cooking Light Message Boards. I made some modifications to make it vegan and to make it more saucy. It has the same great taste as Cabbage Rolls, minus the hassle and mess of rolling. Healthy, easy and inexpensive to prepare! Crockpot North American “Stuffed†Cabbage 1 12 oz package MorningStar Farms Burger Crumblers. 1 28 oz can tomato sauce (plus some fresh diced tomaotes if handy) 2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard 2 tsp sugar ¼ teaspoon black pepper 6 cups shredded green cabbage 1 cup chopped onion ¾ cup dry bulgur 1/4 cup water Coat the crock pot insert with cooking spray. In the prepared container, combine all ingredients very well. Cook on low for minimum 8 hours. Mix well before serving.
Guest guest
The measurements for the bulgur wheat and black pepper aren't very readable in the version I can see. Can you repeat them in a clearer font? , " lzruder " <elizabethhill@j...> wrote: > > > Crockpot North American “Stuffed†Cabbage > > 1 12 oz package MorningStar Farms Burger Crumblers. > 1 28 oz can tomato sauce (plus some fresh diced tomaotes if handy) > 2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard > 2 tsp sugar > ¼ teaspoon black pepper > 6 cups shredded green cabbage > 1 cup chopped onion > ¾ cup dry bulgur > 1/4 cup water > > > Coat the crock pot insert with cooking spray. That's what happens when people use the high ascii codes in plain text messages. >Can you repeat them in a clearer font? I can make them out on this end. > ¼ teaspoon black pepper This might be 1/4 teaspoon > ¾ cup dry bulgur and 3/4 cup bulgur. If this is wrong, would the original poster please correct me?
