Recipe By :Robin Robertson

Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00

Categories : Crockpot Desserts

Vegan

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

4 large peaches -- ripe; peeled, pitted, sliced

1 cup fresh blueberries -- picked clean

1/2 cup light brown sugar -- firmly packed

OR

1/2 cup natural sweetener

3/4 cup rolled oats

1/3 cup margarine -- non-hydrogenated, softened

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Place the peaches in a 3 1/2 - 4 quart slow cooker and the blueberries and

1/4 cup of the brown sugar. Stir to combine well.

In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the remaining brown sugar, oats,

margarine, cinnamon and salt. Stir to combine well and sprinkle on top of

the fruit.

Put the lid on the slow cooker slightly askew to allow steam to escape and

cook on HIGH for 2 hours. If too much liquid remains, remove the lid and

cook for 30 minutes longer.

NOTES : Author's note: Similar to a fruit crumble, kind of like a fruit

crisp, this is called a " tumble " because you basically tumble all

the ingredients into a slow cooker, and in a couple of hours, it's

dessert.
