Guest guest
It's hard to say. If the recipe was for a crockpot soup or stew, the rice was probably raw/uncooked. White rice, in particular, tends to get mushy and sort of dissolve with extended crockpot cooking. If the cooking time is/was short, the recipe could be calling for cooked rice. On the other hand, I have had great luck with brown rice in soups. I particularly like brown rice in lentil soup. , " mdwyer1234 " <mdwyer1234 wrote: > > I saw a tomato rice and a cumin rice > recipe and wondered was the rice > ingredent uncooked or pre cooked? thanks > michael dwyer >
