Guest guest
The breast milk can only be vegan if the diet is ‘vegan’. Elite I believe most vegans will give their baby's breast milk. At least I hope so. I heard of a strange case of a raw vegan family only giving their baby almond milk and the baby died. karyn < restlesspoetry <restlesspoetry%40> > wrote: It's just me and my husband so far, but we're both vegan. I think I'm going to raise our future children as vegan too, but it will be hard since my family doesn't understand it - I just had a long discussion with my sister about breast milk being vegan or not; she refuses to admit it. Guest guest
human breast milk is best for human babies, regardless. just as cow milk is best for baby cows. you said your sister refuses to 'admit it'?? do you mean she refuses to admit that breast milk is vegan?? =) Jenni (proud vegan mamma to my two little vegans... now age 8 & 10 ) even if they never ever understand it, your family will eventually see that your (future) kids are strong, smart and growing and perfectly healthy in the vegan diet =) > > karyn < restlesspoetry <restlesspoetry%40> > > wrote: It's just me and my husband so far, but we're both vegan. Guest guest
Well, yes. I'm of the opinion that it is vegan, because it's not TAKEN from the mom, it's given, while she thinks that anything that comes from a live being is not vegan. I agree with this most of the time, but when it comes to breast milk, well, that's just a category of its own. Any explaning is just regarded as " preaching " , so I think I'll just go with what you said... eventually they'll figure out that I am healthier than I've ever been as a vegan.
