Any rice cheeses out there? Hi everyone! I'm kinda new here. I've been a vegetarian for 20 years, and have recently decided to go 100% vegan. The only thing I'm having a little trouble giving up is cheese. Sooo, I was wondering if anyone here has any favorite vegan " cheeses " they can recommend? I'm hoping to find something that will melt well in things like quesadillas and grilled " cheese " sandwiches. I was looking at the so-called nondairy cheeses in my local health food store and was dismayed to find things like milk solids in them! EEK! I might as well eat regular cheese! Anyway, any suggestions would be much appreciated. I know I ought to just go cold turkey and cut out cheese and cheese alternatives, but I'm having such a hard time that I think I need to wean myself more gradually. Thanks! Judy Get on board. Guest guest
Can you recommend a book? All the recipes I looked at online contain yeast or soy. Thanks!
