Guest guest Posted August 26, 2007 Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 I'm new to this list, but not to veganism. I've kinda lost track but I've been a vegan about 10 years or so. I'm really looking forward to figuring out vegan crockpot cooking. I have been looking though some of the recipes and I think I may have to do some serious substitutions because it's a bit tough to find decent vegan stuff around here, especially the faux meats and cheeses. I'm in west central Ohio and after my daughter moved to Indianapolis this past May, I haven't met another vegan. Period. Up to now I've limited my crockpot " experience " to making German sauerkraut (I veganized it) and spaghetti sauce from scratch, using tvp. So, I'm just thrilled to find this list! Thanks!!
