The Monrovia, Calif., company did not immediately disclose if anyone was injured. The product is a condiment made with roasted peppers, eggplant and tomatoes. The product might have been sold in Trader Joe's stores in the following places: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. The company asks consumers to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's store for a full refund.
