Evans is being auctioned off piece by piece this Wednesday, November 24th, in Federal Bankruptcy Court. It is likely that Birger Christenson, now the nations largest fur company, will aquire all of Evans leases at various department stores. However, this is not a done deal, and we can still influence these stores to do the right thing and discontinue the sale of fur. This is a golden opportunity for these companies to leave the fur trade. Even if you have already called or written the companies listed below, please do so again! Please distribute this to all pro animal lists. With enough pressure we can get at least one of these companies to go ahead and drop fur now that they have this golden opportunity.
