Guest guest
Hail, Hail, 20-something less meat eaters on the planet! I hope more of the already slaughtered animals become infected with some horrible, flesh-eating, slow-horrible death-causing, bacteria! Revenge of the slaughtered cow! Otherwise, Peace and Love to all (vegetarians) I think, therefore I am . . . a vegetarian! Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that a six year old girl died recently and 30-something people are ill near Montreal from e.coli contaminated beef. I saw it on the 6pm CBC news a couple weeks ago. They interviewed the girl's parents and they even showed, full-on, the inside of a veal slaughterhouse. It was extremely revolting... but it was on the 6pm news. I wonder if the sight of cows being disemboweled and sawed in half and the idea of lethal food-poisoning ruined any Canadians' dinners that night. (Also, 20-something people have died in the past few months from listeria contaminated pork in Illinois) At any rate, it's worth discussing with people you care about who may still eat dead cows. This is a very serious issue. You know, I was never so sick as when I had salmonella and e.coli makes that seem like a walk in the park. But wait, it gets worse! " ...Their (hemophiliacs') frustration centres around the case of a Utah plasma donor, Doug McEwen, who died March 26 of CJD. Last December, Health Canada temporarily quarantined blood products containing his plasma but decided after a week to clear the products for re-distribution " , " some U.S. scientists and consumer groups say it's possible the man, who hunted, is the first known victim to have contracted a newer strain from eating deer and elk. " Let me rephrase that: there's a man from Utah who shoots animals for fun and then eats them. He died of CJD (aka: Mad Cow Disease). His blood could be in Canada. American blood was quarantined for a while because of this, but is now cleared for redistribution. You do not find this in the news. I highly recommend reading some of the articles at http://www.mad-cow.org/ ...and talking with people about it. -anji
