Guest guest
Hello, I'm passing this on particularly to Anthony but thought I'd post it for everybody because it's very interesting. It is a presented paper from the Food Animal Well-Being 1993 Conference Proceedings and Deliberations, USDA and Purdue University, Office of Agricultural Research Programs, West Lafayette, Indiana entitled " Animal Production and the New Social Ethic for Animals " by Bernard E. Rollin - Professor and Director of Bioethical Planning, Department of Philosophy, Colorado State University, and author of " The Unheeded Cry: Animla Consciousness, Animal Pain, and Science " Rollin discusses issues such as animal agriculture then vs. now, what he calls the new " consensus social ethic about animals " that's happening in society, animal welfare vs. animal rights, what to do, and much more. Check it out. http://www.ansc.purdue.edu/wellbeing/FAWB1993/Rollin.pdf
