Guest guest Posted November 24, 1999 Report Share Posted November 24, 1999 Thank you Anji for sending that article. Its not always easy to look at the world that way and to rise above 'our egos'. This gives me great pause...especially regarding meat eaters and my sometimes anger or intolerance towards them. Every day at work , it is my job to put out the catered lunch and then to throw away the leftovers. Everyday I toss out body parts of pigs, cows, baby cows, fishies, and sadly little lambs. My sadness and anger rises whenever I do this, seeing the mindless way my coworkers contribute to " the problem " . These are people I call friends, and really do like in every sense, but when it comes to them eating the flesh of dead bodies I think these people are zombies! I will try to remember that article about compassion. Its not easy being green. Peace, Bliss. P.S.
